Ladi Lux

Hello Ladies, we can finally say hello to warmer weather and green grass. How exciting is that?
But unfortunately with the warmer weather it means us girls have to take extra care of our skin to ensure we look our best, all the time.
                                                             ________________

Whenever we reach this time of the year, it’s always crucial to go through everything in your stash and revamp it accordingly, and that includes your beauty pouches. It’s high time you threw out those empty perfume bottles and restock your pretty cases with all things new along with your trusted favourites. The golden rule when it comes to packing your essentials is to keep it simple.

1) Vaseline Lip Therapy:
This lip balm is an absolute god send, I use this collection religiously as you can never have lips that are too soft or hydrated, and as the days gets hotter you have to remember your lips and skin will get drier so it's best to keep one of these little bad boys in your bag or pocket at all times.

2) Bellamianta Gradual Moisturizer:
As you probably all know I live for Bellamianta, and living in Ireland we don't see the sun very often so Bella gives me that golden glow that I have been longing for, all while hydrating my skin at the same time. This product gives me such a natural, lasting glow and makes me feel as soft as silk & that my lovelies is why this product comes with me everywhere I go.

3) Cocovit Coconut Oil:
Coconut oil is amazing, for everything. The thing i love about it is that it is so diverse and can be used for so many different purposes. When i was bleaching my hair a lot (worst mistake of my life) my hair became damaged and dry, it also started to break like f**k (excuse my french) but seriously i was worse than any shedding animal. My mom then recommended that i start bathing my hair in coconut oil for 3-4 hours a day as it helped her revive her dead hair. I tried it, and fell in love. I still have a long way to go but my hair is starting to regain its moisture and strength back and i can tell you from this day forward i am never putting another drop of bleach on my head.
4) Daisy by Marc Jacobs:
I first received this perfume as a present from my mother one Christmas and it has been my go to perfume ever since, the packaging of the perfume is what caught my attention at first but then i had a smell and oh my god it was like i just sprayed a bit of heaven on to myself. It smells beautiful. It's not one of those scents that would knock you out if you stood too close, it;s just the right amount of sweet and the right amount of floral mixed together to create the masterpiece that is Daisy by Marc Jacobs.

5) Simple Skin Care:
Simple has always been my go to cleansing products, as i have dry skin its very important to use good, moisturizing creams on my skin and simple gives me just that, it's perfect for dry skin as it doesn't irritate me like most makeup cleansing  products would. I love their complete range of products but my favorite is definitely the eye make-up remover.

I really hope you's enjoyed this post just as much as i enjoyed writing it and if you have used any of these products then please feel free to tell me how your experience was in the comments, I would love to hear your feedback,

Until next time,

Hello Ladies, The time has come where we can ditch our woolly jumpers and swap them for t-shirts and *gasp* even maybe a pair of shorts! If you're like me and want to look like you've just got back from a cruise around the Caribbean then i have the tan for you!

I am a girl that absolutely loves tan, feeling frumpy and unattractive? put on some tan! Feel like your outfit could do with something more? Put on some tan!
So obviously me being me, when i see a tan on the market i just have to try it.

I came across Bellamianta when i was in college and i have been obsessed with it ever since.

Packaging:
The packaging of this product is so elegant looking and it reassures you that there might be hope for fake tan after all! Bellamianta is a luxury brand of tan and the packaging confirms that!

Product: When you first open the bottle you'll be shocked to find that there is no fake tan smell, no biscuits (amazing, i know.) Instead of smelly a pantry you get the most exotic, fruity smell and it is so welcoming.
The consistency of this tan is a watery liquid but once you use the air tight pump it transforms the liquid into a mousse *mind blown*
This tan is
bursting with natural extracts that is the ultimate skin treatment for all skin types, especially dry skin in need of a bit of attention.
Application: As recommended i exfoliate my body with their luxury exfoliating mitt the night prior to the application to insure the removal of any dead and unwanted skin on my body, this will help to achieve a smooth and natural looking glow.  The application of this product is flawless, like i said the pump transforms the liquid into mousse so there is less chance for spillage and for a clumsy girl like myself this makes so much of a difference! The products guide colour is a lovely natural brown which helps when applying my tan so that i don't miss any spots. Using gentle circular motions to rub in my tan with their luxury tanning mitt i find its best to apply my tan once and wait to see the colour and if i would still prefer for my tan to be darker then i would go in and apply a second time.

Developing time: The developing time for this tan ranges between 2-4 hours but i personally like to leave mine on overnight to ensure i get the darkest results, when my tan is developed enough i then proceed to take a shower and wash off the colour guide, i don't use any body wash that contains oil i simply just wait for the water to run clear, the reason for this being that oils can sometimes strip tan which means it will leave a blotchy and uneven look and i really don't want that.

Overall thoughts: I simply love this tan, I love the colour, I love the durability, I love the smell. I just love this tan and i highly recommend it, it's not very often that i find a tan that suits my skin so well but i am truly obsessed with Bellamianta and i have a feeling whoever tries it will feel the same way.
Until next time,
Rhiannon, x

Hello my lovelies,
I am back with another one of our weekly posts, which i am hoping will soon become one of two weekly posts but at this moment in time i am trying to juggle work, life and my blog in and a for a girl who works 12 hour shifts I will need to schedule that little bit harder.

Tonight is honestly one of those nights where sleep just escapes me, but what better way to spend that time than writing and planning blog posts! I'm really excited to share this one with you as Edvinas & I have had a rather exciting few weeks!

We finally moved into our own house! This has been something we have wanted to do since we got together but its been tough finding work for both of us and earning enough to afford renting a house and everything that comes with it. The house is beautiful, obviously with an old house you have your list of repairs that haunts you until you get them done but time is precious and we will soon be living in our own little palace fit for a king and queen! I am currently lying on the sofa writing this and i have never felt so comfortable.
Both Eddie and I have never lived on our own before and i'm extremely happy that i'm the person that he gets to do it with, I know some people won't understand the excitement of moving house but for me and Eddie, this is a pretty big deal!

This house is the start of our future together and i can truly say i'm blessed to have such an amazing man to share these moments with.
I first seen this house online and i was immediately drawn to it and wanted to see it better as its close to work so its ideal for me as i don't drive and its not that far of a walk into town to get my weekly groceries so to me it seemed perfect. Of course the house needs work but it only makes me more anxious as i want to make my home the comfy, dreamy space i have always imagined.
Mommy, my step father and daddy came up to see me and Edvinas on Sunday to see the house and give it an extremely needed clean (it was rather disgusting) and she also decided to bring me up so many amazing house warming gifts such as the kitchen essentials and so many other decorative items, it still needs to be painted and decorated but it really has come a long way from having no furniture and barely any character to it.

I'm not going to show you's the house as of yet because i think that itself deserves a blog post of its own, and i will also be doing more home decor hauls over the next few coming weeks! I am literally buzzing for what is to come and i can't wait to share the end result with you guys!
Until next time,
Rhiannon x

It is finally happening!
I have finally dove into the the deep sea of blogging, which is definitely something i have wanted to do for so long but just never really knew where to begin. This blog is going to be a place where everyone can come to unwind, relax and just explore different products, places, outfits and more.

Excited is definitely an understatement. I am absolutely buzzing to share my new found loves with you on here and i really hope you lovelies are as excited as i am.
There will be a new post every week, maybe even twice a week so i definitely recommend you keep an eye out, it'll be worth it.

Until then darlings,
Rhiannon
